Operations performed within these services are paid on monthly basis and include complete management of risks in the workplace and working environment. A person who performs these tasks, is defined by the Law as SHW Designated Person.
All managers from JOB are graduate engineers who passed the professional exam for Safety and health at work.
Important facts stipulated by the Law, concerning duties of the SHW Designated Person:
Every employer (regardless of the type of activity, the structure of enterprises and number of employees) must appoint a SHW Designated Person with the act in writing .
Every employer in the company which has more than 10 employees is obliged to have a SHW Designated Person and this person must have passed the professional exam for Safety and health at work.
The employer must have a SHW Designated Person even in cases where there are fewer than 10 employees, unless the conducted activities are trade, catering and tourism, crafts and personal services, financial, technical and business services, education, science and information, health and social welfare and housing - communal activities. In these sectors, with number of employees under 10, the employer may perform the duties of safety and health at work himself and he does not need to have passed the professional examination.
